We exist to close the gap between opportunity and access.

California's public higher education system is one of the most accessible in the country. Through the California Community Colleges, the University of California, and the CSU system, structured transfer pathways exist for students who want to earn a four-year degree.

But access on paper isn't the same as access in practice.

For some students, navigating those pathways often means doing so without inherited knowledge, without adequate advising, and without someone who's been through it pointing the way. Capable, motivated students lose time, change course, or walk away entirely — not because the pathway was closed, but because it was too difficult to interpret alone.

College Transfer Collective was founded to change that. Our work is about translation: taking a complex system and making it human-centered, clear, and navigable.

The system builds the pathways. We make them legible.

Our Approach

Structured Guidance Clear, step-by-step support through the transfer process — from major selection to application deadlines.

Mentorship Students are paired with mentors who've successfully navigated the transfer pathway themselves.

Community No one should figure this out alone. We build peer networks that last beyond the transfer process.
